SPPC GIVING TREE:
Adopt a Child and/or Senior
Every year, San Pedro sets up a Christmas tree in the Narthex, which we call the Giving Tree. The tree is decorated with ornament tags, each representing a gift for a child in need in San Antonio. Over the years, SPPC has donated thousands of gifts to CAM, SAMM and Fisher House as we share our many blessings with others.
This year, instead of ornament tags on a Christmas tree, we have a Sign Up Genius where you can pick an item. Drop off your gifts or have it delivered directly to the church or use curbside services for contactless pickup. Or if you prefer, you can mail a check (Attn: Giving Tree) to the church and we will do the shopping for you.
Please click SPPC Giving Tree to sign up to donate a gift.

Daily Bread Ministries is a faith-based food bank that was founded in 1996 by a former farmer and vending business owner, Seth Kuehn. Seth saw perfectly good food being thrown away and realized what that could mean for the hungry. They now re-distribute millions of pounds of food, free of charge, to struggling families.
Donate to Daily Bread Ministries. For every $1 we receive, we give away $10 worth of high-quality food to be shared with God’s people living in poverty.
Emmanuel Presbyterian (EPC) is our “sister church” in downtown San Antonio. Many of Emmanuel’s members are second and third generation descendants of the founding members. Emmanuel’s ministries include a Food Pantry. They currently serve over 300 families per month on four distribution days.

HNS is the first Presbyterian Mission in San Antonio. It was started in 1917 by Presbyterian missionaries on the west side of town. It serves the three zip codes in San Antonio with the highest numbers of child abuse and neglect. Its goals are to prevent child abuse and neglect and prepare children for successful entry into school; enhance the physical and mental health of seniors; feed the hungry and connect people to the resources they need; and collaborate with others to meet the needs of the community.
