Adult Sunday School

Join with other adults to grow together in faith.

Adult classes meet from 9:45-10:45 in the Neal building and the Parlor (in the main building across from the Sanctuary)

Here are our Summer Sunday School classes

Calvin’s Class (returns in August)—Pastor Calvin with continue his lectures though Malachi.

Science and Religion – led by Rudy Gaedke and Mark Tapley
The approach scientists take to religion has taken a multitude of forms; although these forms have been informed by observation of the world around us and supplemented by calculation, we note the diversity even among scientists of today in their conclusions. We examine some of the forces that shape scientists’ approach to God and religion, and some of the more famous statements made and positions taken over the centuries by leading scientific figures with regard to religion. The study will refer to a few videos and we will try to include time for discussion, especially in the later sessions. We will avoid equations with more than 3 terms and we will use very few of those; no mathematical background is assumed and we will approach physics concepts at a completely conceptual level and only so as to demonstrate their consequences to our faith.
