Adult Sunday School

Our Adult Sunday School classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 to in the Neal building and the Parlor (in the main building across from the Sanctuary)

 

Calvin’s Class:  Walking into the New Testament
Pastor Calvin has recently finishes lecturing on Malachi, and is now teaching on the intertestamental period (the 400 years between the Old and New Testaments). He will then will move into the Gospel of Matthew. (Neal Building, Room B101)

TnT Class: Walking though Exodus
Pastor Paul will be teaching a class for the Twenties and Thirties (TNT). The will be journeying with Moses and the Israelites as God leads them out of Egypt. (Neal Building, Room B104)

Sermon Focus Class: Walking with Jesus
Dave Reiss will be leading an interactive class that will include games, videos, activities, and discussion based on the week’s sermon passage. This will be a great class for those interested in being a small group leader in January. (Neal Building, Room B102)

Parlor Class:  Walking through Transformation
Eric Mapes and Laurel Dixon will facilitate discussion based on several video series that revolve around transformation.  They will use videos from Andy Stanley, Steve Deneff, and Chip Ingram. These videos are available on your Right Now Media account.

Fellowship Hall: Walking with Jesus Discussion Group
For those who want to socialize in the Fellowship Hall, we will offer discussion cards with questions to help you engage with your friends around the week’s sermon.

Moments with our Missionaries: Sunday, September 24
We will have a special time of Q&A with our missionaries to Zambia, Charles and Melissa Johnson.  They will be sharing during both worship services, but would love to share more personally how God is moving through the people of Zambia.

Charles and Melissa Johnson help the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian’s Zambia Synod expand its holistic ministry of community development, food security and improved health. Charles serves as a Development Specialist, and Melissa serves as a Health Education Program Facilitator. 

Fellowship Breakfasts:
Around once a month there will be a light breakfast being served in the Fellowship Hall. Breakfast will be served on September 24, October 15th, November 12th (as part of the Alternative Gift Market), January 21, March 18, April 1 (Easter), and May 20th.  You are welcome to take your breakfast to your Sunday School Class.
